The age of high definition t-v has brought a new danger into our homes. Wednesday, that danger took the life of a 1-year old child.
It happened at an apartment complex near 21st and 137th east avenue.

A large flat-screen t-v fell on that child. The adults where in the next room, getting dinner ready when the accident happened.

"The children were in the room playing and a couple of them started wrestling and it knocked the tv off the dresser sitting it was sitting on and it fell on the child.”

Police say when Emsa and fire fighters arrived, they found the child had lost a lot of blood.

While they were able to stabilize him and get him to the hospital alive, he later died at St. Francis Hospital.

No charges are expected in the case, police say it appears to be an accident.

Excuse me...., but the old TV's would have been sitting on the floor where they belong, not UP ON THE WALL or SITTING ON THE DRESSOR.      MY heart and thoughts go out to the family here...
