After three years of construction, it's now less than 24 hours until the grand opening of the BOK Center.
Today, crews were doing final sound checks, making sure the concession stands are ready and doing one last cleaning. There have been a handful of events at the arena all week for BOK employees. Today, city employees got a chance to come inside.
The sound system seems to be working loud and clear inside the 18-thousand seat arena. Outside, 14 concession stands were doing some last minute practice. There are around 12-thousand hot dogs inside the BOK Center, ready for the grand opening.
In the back In The Raw was making two hundred sushi rolls just for today's trial run. Nearly nine hundred city employees were at the arena today to test it out and get a tour, after three years of watching its construction.
"It was nice, they opened it up for employees to let everyone come in and see it because everyone's been wondering about it," said Bill Barnes. "We've watched it being built. Nice to be able to come in and see it."
At Saturday's grand opening, visitors will get to go down into the dressing rooms and into the event suites.
