MANGUM, Okla. (AP) - The trial of a former prison warden's wife
on charges she helped a convicted killer escape from prison in 1994
is being delayed at the request of her attorney.
Bobbi Parker's attorney, Garvin Isaacs, says a Greer County
judge on Thursday agreed to delay the start of the trial until Jan.
11, 2010. Isaacs says he hasn't had time to review all the
evidence.
Parker is accused of helping Randolph Dial escape from the
Oklahoma State Reformatory in Granite, where her husband was an
assistant warden.
Parker and Dial were found more than a decade later living on a
chicken farm in east Texas.
Parker has pleaded not guilty.
Isaacs and prosecutors will appear before a judge again on Sept.
3 to review pending motions in the case.
