Tulsa - Four players had two goals each as Oklahoma Baptist opened the regular season with a 10-0 win over Hillsdale Freewill Baptist Tuesday in Shawnee.
The Bison (1-0-0) took only two minutes to get the only goal they'd need when Yalli Oliveira scored the first of his two goals. Victor Costa followed with a penalty kick less than a minute later for a 2-0 advantage.
Oliveira, Cost, Marcos Silva and Caio Franca each had two goals for OBU. The other two goals were scored by Thiago Borges and Victor Conceicao.
The Bison out-shot Hillsdale 30-1, including a 16-to-1 advantage in shots on goal.
In four meetings against Hillsdale, Oklahoma Baptist has outscored the Saints 43-to-0.
Oklahoma Baptist will next play at Northwood Friday afternoon with games for both the men and the women. They'll follow that up with a trip to Texas Wesleyan for evening games on Saturday.
Oklahoma Baptist is coming off a 12-2-and-4 season, including a 5-0-3 record in Sooner Athletic Conference games.
