Former Teacher, Coach Charged With Child Sexual Abuse

Prosectuors in Mayes County filed the charge Monday against 26-year-old Zachary George of Sapulpa.
Mayes County Assistant District Attorney Becky Gore tells NewsChannel 8 George is accused of inappropriately touching a girl and asking her to perform a sex act.
The incidents allegedly happened on August 26th and 27th of this year.
George, who was employed as a probationary teacher and coach, was suspended on August 28th and submitted his resignation on the same day.
