My son is in the third grade at Mounds. This sad for the town but especially for the teachers. So much of the items lost they had purchased with their own money. I hope the school rebounds quickly. I do hope they make an announcement soon. We would like to know what the plan is.

I have family that have attended Mounds schools in the past and a niece who is currently a student at the Mounds elementary. This is a sad event for the town but you know, they will pull together, they always do. The spirit of the town is not broken that much is for sure.

This is just so sad. My prayers are with everyone in Mounds. It was amazing though to see the community come together today.
