Checotah native Carrie Underwood performed on Good Morning America Tuesday as her second album, "Carnival Ride" hits stores. "Carnival Ride" is the follow-up to Underwood's multi-platinum debut album, "Some Hearts", which has sold more than six million copies and spawned three number one country hits.
Underwood told ABC's Diane Sawyer the title of the new album is a good description of what her life has been like over the past couple of years.

"My life is certainly comparable to a ride of some sort," she said. "But it's been crazy, it's been great. Really fitting."
Underwood performed three songs this morning -- "So Small" and "Flat On The Floor" from the new album and "Before He Cheats" -- one of those number one hits from her debut.
"So Small" is the first single from the new album and has already jumped to number five and continuing to rise on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart.
