Fox Collision Centers has five body shops here in Tulsa. This weekend, all of them shut down. But, a lot of customers still have their cars there. NewsChannel 8 told you about this story over the weekend and today, Abby Ross went looking for more answers.

We stopped by all five shops today and they look the same -- shut down with no one inside. We saw several customers going to the main shop in south Tulsa. One woman even went to two shops, trying to get answers.

NewsChannel 8 myTAKE - What's Your Opinion?Roni Humphrey is one of the customers. She brought her truck in last week. On Friday, they told her they would have it ready by Tuesday.

"I don't see it here. I hope it's locked up inside. I can't even get ahold of anybody to tell me about my truck."

Monica Judy also brought her car in last week.

"Just very frustrated," says Monica Judy. "Especially given the fact that there's no one to talk to. No numbers to call. No one is returning calls, so it's very frustrating."

We tried getting answers today. The president didn't put a phone number on the e-mail. We called all five shops, but no one answered. We also stopped by all five, but no one was there. Finally, late this afternoon, we received word that customers can pick up their cars on Tuesday.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., customers can pick up cars at the Fox Collision Centers located at 61st and Highway 169. From noon to 3 p.m., customers can pick up at 4109 S. Indian. And, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., customers can pick up cars at 51st and Highway 169. For more information, customers should call (405)-370-7164.

Fox blames insurance companies, saying they were pressuring his company to repair cars quickly, to the point where they couldn't do quality repairs. So, he says he is opening a new business that will not work with insurance companies.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will bring you the latest updates as they become available.

Many in this industry recieve a monthly magazine "Fender Bender". If the public could just read the article from August 2007 I think they might understand just how much "GREED" played a role in this melt down that put near 50 local people with out jobs. If only the media could get thier hads on a copy of that article "Power Branding with Todd Fox" or the magazine would revisit his story, some might get an idea of the distance that man would go for the almighty dollar...
