Sam Bradford passed for 372 yards and a pair of touchdowns as Oklahoma defeated Baylor 49-17 Saturday in Waco, defending their number one ranking for the first time.
The Sooners jumped out to a 28-0 lead in the first quarter and were never threatened.
Just over a minute into the game, Bradford found Manuel Johnson with a 53-yard touchdown pass down the left sideline for a 7-0 lead.
OU then went to the ground with Demarco Murray, Bradford and Mossis Madu scoring on short runs to boost the lead to four touchdowns.
Bradford's second TD pass came in the second quarter on a 42-yard pass to Juaquin Iglesias.
Oklahoma racked up 594 yards in total offense, including 96 yards rushing from Murray, who scored two touchdowns.
With the win, OU moved to 18-and-0 all time against the Bears. They now prepare for next week's showdown with 5th-ranked Texas in the annual Red River Rivalry.
