Man Charged With Killing Nephew

Sapulpa - A Creek County man is being charged with the killing of his nephew.
Creek County authorities tell News Channel 8 Billy Blose, 53, was involved in a disagreement with his nephew, Travis Nelson, 29, at Nelson's mother's home last Saturday night.
Blose initially called authorities to report that Nelson had committed suicide. When deputies arrived they found the Nelson lying in the backyard with a gunshot wound to his neck and began efforts to save him. He was taken to St. John Medical Center, where he later died Monday night.
Sheriff's deputies interviewed Sheri Cosper, Nelson's mother, who told them the two men were fighting when Blose came in the house to get a gun. Cosper reported she then heard loud voices and a gunshot.
Blose is being charged with Second Degree Murder. He is currently free on bond.
