Tulsa - A Tulsa Wal-Mart is shut down, after a man barricades himself in the bathroom and refuses to come out.

It happened shortly after 3:00 Monday morning. Police were called to the Wal-Mart near 66th and Memorial.

When they arrived, officers found a man inside the restroom huffing chemicals. They also noticed what looked like a gun on the man's lap, that is when officers left the restroom an called for back up.

Authorities tried to coax the man out, but he refused to cooperate. Pepper balls were finally fired in the restroom to get the man out.

After he surrendered, officers confiscated the weapon, which turned out to be an air pistol.

The man is being held on a public intoxication complaint.
