Tulsa - Temperatures will creep back closer to the 70-degree mark by mid-week, but they will bring with them a chance for showers and thunderstorms, including some which may be severe.
Monday, a few sprinkles here and there kept afternoon highs from reaching 60 in most places in eastern Oklahoma. But, skies are expected to clear Tuesday, allowing for a warm-up into the mid to upper 60s.
By Wednesday, 70s could be seen across the area with breezy conditions ahead of an approaching storm system that will impact the area by late Wednesday and during the day Thursday.
Some of the storms could reach severe limits on Thursday with large hail and damaging winds the main threats. The storms will shift east of the area by Friday, allowing for mostly sunny conditions over the weekend.
