Tulsa - The Oklahoma State men's golf team shot a one-over 289 Monday, good enough to move into first place after two rounds of play at the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational in Windermere, Florida.
The Cowboys hold a four-shot advantage over Florida and a nine stroke lead over third place Stanford.
OSU's Peter Uihlein dropped from a tie for first into second place, trailing Alabama's Bud Cauley by two strokes. Cauley shot a two-under 70 on Monday while Uihlein shot one-over 73. The sophomore sits at one-under 143 after two rounds.
Kevin Tway is now tied for fifth at even par after carding a two-under 70 on Monday. He began the day in 16th place. Trent Whitekiller also moved up after shooting even par. He's now three-over 144 through two rounds.
Morgan Hoffman is tied for 18th at 4-over and Mark Johnson is tied for 62nd at 15-over.
Oklahoma State will be grouped with Florida and Stanford when play resumes at 8:40 a.m. CST for the final round on Wednesday.
