Fox Collision Employees' Checks Bounce

The fallout continues for employees of the recently closed Fox Collision Centers. We've learned the auto body repair shop has more than just shut its doors, it has also left former employees high and dry when it comes to their paychecks.
A former employee came forward with a paycheck that bounced. Instead of getting his final paycheck in the mail, Dustin Jeffries was notified that his previous paycheck -- already deposited -- wasn't worth the paper it was printed on.
"I get the check back and a letter saying that it bounced," he says.

Dustin is finding out the hard way that his former employer's bank account was as empty as the reception desk.
"I called his bank and they said that anything that Fox Collision had is going to not go through," Jeffries says.
Brandon Harris says he is owed about 18-hundred dollars and was supposed to get a direct deposit on Friday. It never appeared. As for the owner? Aside from a letter blaming the collapse on the insurance industry, Todd Fox has been missing in action.
"Nobody has seen, heard, nobody knows where he's at."
Fox has not responded to e-mails from Newschannel 8 requesting an interview, and phone numbers are either unlisted or busy.
"If I was to do something like that, they would come get me and throw me in jail," Jeffries says. "I think it should be the same thing."
"I just have no respect for the man at all, treating people like this," Harris says. "I mean, I don't even know how he sleeps at night knowing how many families he's turned upside down."
How many checks have bounced is still unknown. But, Harris and Jeffries are just the tip of an iceberg set to sink Fox Collision into even more trouble.
"He just basically stole from a hundred people just in this town and then left."
Several former employees are banding together, contacting the labor board, and looking for an attorney. They are also looking for authorities to take some sort of action against Fox.
In all, Fox Collision operated 18 stores with five in the Tulsa area.
