Norman - The 12th-ranked Oklahoma Sooners open the college basketball season tomorrow with a home game against American University.
OU will start preseason All-American Blake Griffin and his brother Taylor at forwards along with guards Tony Crocker, Willie Warren and Austin Johnson.
American is the preseason favorite to win the Patriot League and has its top four scorers back from last season's 21-12 team that advanced to the NCAA tournament.
