Oklahoma City - A routine traffic stop turned into a police pursuit that reached speeds of 130 miles per hour in Oklahoma City Friday afternoon.

The chase started in Stroud.

Video from the pursuit showed the speeding vehicle on the Turner Turnpike, making several close calls with other vehicles as it sped by them.

Troopers attempted a pit maneuver, but the driver continued until exiting and running over a stop sign. Troopers then converged on the vehicle and pulled two people out of the car.

Police say the driver and passenger were brothers, and that both had outstanding arrest warrants.

Officers also say a small amount of marijuana was found inside the car.

Doing 130+ MPH & smoking marijuana? How would they drive 130, with such a slow reaction from the marijuana?
It's like Tom Petty doing 130 MPH being chased by the cops!

Personal note marijuana should be legal like Canada did. It has a medical use!
That would rid a lot of drug dealers being able to get it from your doctor, not the street.
