The robberies were spread out, but most took place at apartment complexes.
Twice a day and twice a night Linda Franks walks her dog, Tyson, at the Bristol park Apartments.
"It's pretty scary, because I don’t if anybody is going to come up on me or what."
Franks is not the woman robbed last night, but heard about it.
"My husband woke me up this morning and told me about the lady just going to the pop machine. And I thought, my God."
The woman was buying a soda when three armed men threatened her life and demanded her purse. The woman wasn't hurt, but Linda says, it scared her enough to want to move.
"We were living in a house. But you know, the econmy. So we downsized, but we wish we wouldn't of."
Tulsa Police Officer, Leland Ashley says, "We're seeing a lot of apartment complex parking lot robberies, where a person is approached by three people with a gun and threatened to the point where they hand over their goods."
Ashley says though, last night's robberies appear to be unrelated. And several of them, completely random.
He says, "Well, I don't want to put fear into anyone. But I would be aware of your surroundings."
Linda knows here surroundings, and that's why she's prepared for the worst. Especially, as the economy sinks, and people get more desperate.
She says, "It's scary to know what's going to happen, if we just keep going with this. So hopefully, it will get better, though."
