Tulsa - Police are looking for suspects who fired shots at a man who tried to keep them from stealing his vehicle.
It happened near East King Street and North St. Louis Avenue. Police say the victim was just coming back to his home, pulled into his driveway and went inside the home to get something. When he came back out, he saw one of the suspects getting into his SUV.
The victim tried to stop the suspect, but the man pulled a gun and fired shots at him. Luckily, the victim was not hit by the gunfire.
Meanwhile, the victim's car was equipped with in-vehicle security, so when officers arrived, they knew where the vehicle was. They discovered the SUV about a quarter of a mile away. It had been abandoned.
Witnesses say the suspects were in a Dodge Neon. No arrests have been made. Police say they don't know if this is related to other carjackings in which the vehicles have been stolen and stripped.
