Tulsa - Larissa Williams scored a team-high 20 points to lead the University of Tulsa to a 62-39 win over LaSalle Saturday in Tulsa.
TU (2-0) led 34-21 at halftime thanks to a 22-8 run early in the game. An 11-2 run over the first seven minutes of the second half pushed the advantage to 44-23 and the lead grew to 25 points with just over a minute to play.
Joining Williams in double digits was freshman Taleya Mayberry with 13. Jermaine Kermis had nine points and a career-high 13 rebounds.
Morgan Robertson led LaSalle with 12 points.
Tulsa returns to action Friday and Saturday at the Florida Gulf Coast University Thanksgiving Classic in Fort Meyers, Florida. The Golden Hurricane will face Florida Gulf Coast and Akron.
