Tulsa - The season-ending injuries to Sam Bradford and Jermaine Gresham aren't keeping another Sooner from turning down the NFL to return for his senior season.
Defensive tackle Adrian Taylor says he will return for a fifth season at Oklahoma instead of entering the NFL draft.
The 6'4", 303-pounder from Mansfield, Texas, has started the last 27 games for the Sooners. This season, he's fourth on the team in sacks with three and a half, has made 35 total tackles, seven behind the line of scrimmage, has recovered a fumble, blocked a kick and had three quarterback hurries.
For his efforts, Taylor was named to the honorable mention All-Big 12 team.
Taylor says he and his father discussed his future after the Sooners' Bedlam victory and decided he should return.
Taylor and the Sooners will play December 31st at noon in the Brut Sun Bowl against 19th-ranked Stanford.
