Tulsa - A power line falls in north Tulsa, leaving more than a thousand people in the dark Monday night.
Shortly before 8:30pm, an insulator which holds power lines at the top of a pole at Cincinnati and Mohawk failed. The line dropped and 1,700 customers' electricity went off.
The outage knocked out traffic lights across the north side as well.
PSO spokesperson Ed Bettinger said that service was restored around 9:30 p.m.
