Crystal Reeves blasts one out of the sand at the Summit League Championships in April.Oral Roberts golfer Crystal Reeves has been named to the National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team.
Reeves, a junior-to-be from Broken Arrow, was one of nearly five hundred women's golfers honored by the NGCA and the criteria for selection to the team are some of the most stringent in collegiate athletics.
Athletes must maintain a 3.50 grade point average and have competed in at least 50-percent (Division I) or 66-percent (Divisions II and III) of their school's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
Reeves helped lead the Golden Eagles to their 13th straight Summit League title in April, finishing tied for third at the tournament played at Tulsa's Oaks Country Club.
She also earned medalist honors at both the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island and UALR Women's Golf Classics as a sophomore.
The NGCA All-American Scholar Team is selected for student-athletes at all three NCAA levels.
Reeves is a Business major.
