Shock Hit The Road Looking To End Skid

Posted: Updated:

Tulsa Shock head coach Nolan Richardson is known for wearing some flashy attire, but one thing he's not known for is losing.

But, his Shock squad is 3-and-15 and have lost twelve straight games, one shy of tying the franchise record. And, the road doesn't get any easier for the ladies.

Tulsa travels to play San Antonio Friday to begin a three-game road swing.

"Yeah, three in I think we're gone seven days," Richardson says. "That's gonna be murderer's row, especially the way we're playing right now. Our ladies' confidence has to be shattered. I thought there was some gleam of hope after the first twenty minutes (of Tuesday night's loss to Los Angeles) that they would come along and have the energy to do some things, but it did not take place."

After Friday night's game at San Antonio, the Shock plays at Phoenix Saturday and at Los Angeles on Tuesday. Those three teams are a combined 18-and-36, but are 5-0 against Tulsa.

Tulsa's next home game is July 22nd against Phoenix.
