Dallas Beeler, RHP (Florence Red Wolves, Coastal Plain League)
Beeler recently concluded his summer league season after signing a contract with the Chicago Cubs as a 41st-round draft choice. Beeler went 2-0 with a 0.64 ERA for the Red Wolves. In 14.0 innings Beeler allowed just four hits and one walk while striking out 13 and limiting opponents to a .089 batting average.
Chris Elder, OF (Rochester Honkers, Northwoods League)
Elder has played in 26 games for the Honkers and is batting .236 with four home runs and 16 RBI. Elder helped Rochester to the North Division title in the first half, guaranteeing the Honkers a spot in the playoffs.
Brandon Healy, OF/INF (Kitsap Blue Jackets, West Coast Baseball League)
After redshirting as a freshman last season Healy is getting a chance to play for Kitsap. 16 games Healy is batting .205 with one double and seven RBI.
Sean Johnson, RHP (San Luis Obispo Blues, California Collegiate League)
Johnson is enjoying a dominant summer performance. In 11 appearances as the Blues' closer, Johnson has yet to allow an earned run and has racked up eight saves in eight chances. In 11.0 innings he has allowed just four hits and three walks while striking out 21 batters. Johnson has limited opponents to a .114 batting average. He was recently selected to the California Collegiate League All-Star game.
Jeremiah Mejia, OF/C (Orange County Pioneers, Southern California Collegiate Baseball Association)
Mejia is batting .231 (3-13) with two RBI in fiver games for the Pioneers.
Sam Moore, RHP (FCA/Niagara Power, New York Collegiate Baseball League)
Moore continues to shine as he battles back from injuries. In his latest start on July 13, Moore tossed five solid innings in a win over Geneva, allowing one run on four hits while striking out three. For the summer Moore is 1-1 with a 3.75 ERA in seven appearances (six starts). In 36.0 innings, he's allowed 30 hits while striking out 27 and limiting opponents to a .217 batting average.
Bennett Pickar, C (La Crosse Loggers, Northwoods League)
Pickar is batting .272 with one home run and 12 RBI in 24 games. He also has four doubles.
Jared Schlehuber, RHP/1B (Joplin Outlaws, MINK League)
Schlehuber has missed the last three weeks with a ribcage injury but still leads the Outlaws with a .321 batting average, which includes three doubles and five RBI in 10 games. His .486 on-base percentage also tops the squad. On the mound Schlehuber is 0-1 with a 3.65 ERA in three games (one start).
Alec Smith, RHP (Derby Twins, Jayhawk League)
Smith is 1-3 with a 7.58 ERA for the Twins. In 19.0 innings Smith has struck out 24 batters and allowed 22 hits.
Brett Sowers, 3B (Cooperstown Hawkeyes, New York Collegiate Baseball League)
Sowers has played in 27 games with 26 starts for the Hawkeyes. He is batting .292 with seven doubles and four RBI. Sowers owns a .368 on-base percentage
Mike Torrence, LHP (Kitsap Bluejackets, West Coast Baseball League)
After missing the first half of the summer recovering from a March ribcage injury, Torrence has become a valuable member of Kitsap's bullpen. In nine appearances, Torrence is 0-0 with a 2.28 ERA. In 15.1 innings he's struck out 20 and walked seven. Torrence is limiting opponents to a .218 batting average.
Joey Winiecki, OF (Wilson Tobs, Coastal Plain League)
Winiecki is batting .218 in 25 games (20 starts) for the Tobs. He owns a .344 on-base percentage and has stolen six bases in nine attempts.

Brandon King, OF (Wisconsin Woodchucks, Northwoods League)
A 16th round selection by Baltimore in the 2010 MLB Draft, King is continuing his tear through the Northwoods League, and will play in the NWL All-Star game on Tuesday. In 39 games, the left-handed hitter is batting .392 (49-125) with 13 doubles, three home runs and 24 RBI. King leads the NWL with a .519 on-base percentage while ranking second in batting average, second in doubles (13), third in walks (39) and fourth in slugging percentage (.568). King has also stolen eight bases and made just one error in the outfield.
Cam Schiller, INF (Anchorage Bucs, Alaska League)
Schiller's summer season ended in late June when he was sent home with a minor back injury. In 16 games for the Bucs, Schiller batted .295 with two doubles and two RBI He also had three stolen bases and a .367 on-base percentage. In the field, Schiller made just three errors in 54 chances, a .963 fielding percentage. Schiller signed with ORU out of Yavapai College.
Matt Rush, RHP (Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox, Cape Cod League)
Rush recently ended a successful two-week stint with the Y-D Red Sox as an injury replacement. In two appearances (both in relief), Rush was 0-0 with a 1.00 ERA in the prestigious Cape Cod League. In 9.0 innings, he allowed seven hits and two walks while striking out a pair. Rush played last season at Cypress College.
