Elmhurst, IL -
The Summit League championship basketball games in both the men's and women's tournaments will be televised nationally, the league announced Thursday.
ESPNU will broadcast the women's title game at 3 p.m. March 8th while the men's game will be seen on ESPN2 later that evening at 8 p.m.
"We are pleased to continue our league's relationship with the ESPN family of networks," said Summit League Commissioner Tom Douple. "The national exposure we receive for both our men's and women's championships is a tremendous asset in enhancing the growth and visibility of our league."
The Summit League Tournament returns to Sioux Falls, South Dakota for a third straight season this year.
It's the 18th straight season the men's title game will air on either ESPN or ESPN2 and the third consecutive airing for the women's game on ESPNU.
