The Oral Roberts volleyball team is seventh in the pre-season Summit League coaches poll which was released this week.
The Golden Eagles return four starters off last year's team that went 12-and-15 overall and 8-10 in league play, but failed to make the postseason tournament.
Those returning include sophomore Joana Gruber, who was named to the league's All-Freshman team after finishing second on the team in kills (220) and kills per set (2.62).
The team also returns junior Serena Cate who led the team with 280 kills and was fourth in digs (224).
North Dakota State is the unanimous choice for the top team, picking up all nine first-place votes and 81 total points.
The regular season begins August 27th as the Golden Eagles travel to Edinburgh, Texas to participate in the Texas-Pan American Tournament.
ORU will play Lamar and Idaho State on the 27th and host Texas-Pan American on Saturday.
