The former head coach at Centenary has been announced as the newest member of the Oral Roberts women's basketball coaching staff.
Bojan Jankovic spent last season as the head coach at Centenary and the previous three seasons as assistant. Oral Roberts head coach Jerry Finkbeiner says he feels very lucky to add Jankovic's experience and knowledge of the game to his staff.
In his only season as head coach, Jankovic's Ladies went 2-and-28. He resigned last month to explore other coaching opportunities.
Jankovic has also spent time as an assistant at University of the Ozarks and was a student-assistant at Texas A&M-Commerce. He also worked a few summers with Igor Kokoskov, an assistant coach with the NBA's Phoenix Suns.
At Oral Roberts, Jankovic is expected to help the Golden Eagles with recruiting, especially in Eastern Europe, to bring quality players into the program.
Oral Roberts went 23-and-10 last season and made the Women's NIT. The Golden Eagles begin the 2010-11 season November 12th at home against UT-Arlington.
