After more than 80 minutes of scoreless soccer, Rogers State's Sergio Guerra scooted a goal past the reach of Oral Roberts goalkeeper Andrew Techanchuk to give the Hillcats a 1-0 victory Tuesday evening at ORU Soccer Complex.

The RSU defense was stellar, limiting the Golden Eagles to just one shot on goal, including none during the final 45 minutes of the game. Sean Surridge blocked the only shot he faced to earn his twelfth shutout of his career.

Techanchuk made four saves for ORU, which dropped to 2-and-1 on the season.

Rogers State, now with a 1-1-and-1 record, will host Friends University Friday night at 7 p.m. in Claremore. Oral Roberts will travel to play Saint Louis Friday night.
