Oklahoma City Thunder center Nenad Krstic is expected to be ready for the team's season opener after undergoing successful surgery Tuesday.
Krstic had surgery to repair a fracture to a finger on his right hand. The 7-footer suffered the injury during the final game of the 2010 FIBA World Championships in Istanbul, Turkey last week.
Krstic helped lead his native Serbia to a fourth place showing at the World Championships, averaging 13.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.
Oklahoma City begins training camp Tuesday and will play its first preseason game October sixth at Charlotte. The first home preseason game will be at Tulsa's BOK Center on October 12th.
The regular season opener is October 27th at home against the Chicago Bulls.
