I like to keep several packages of cream cheese on hand, especially during football season and make various dips, either hot or cold to serve during the game. This one is a fan favorite and takes no time at all to make.
1–8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
1-15 ounce can chili with or without beans
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, or other cheese your choice, like Monterrey Jack
-Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spread softened cream cheese onto the bottom and up the side of a 9-inch pie plate or quiche dish. Spread chili over cream cheese. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Place in oven and bake for approximately 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and dip is bubbly. Serve with tortilla chips. Makes 3 cups.
