Kevin Durant became the youngest scoring champion in NBA history last season.
The Thunder played Houston in 2008 in Tulsa and Miami in 2009.
Tulsa -
The NBA invades downtown Tulsa tonight as the Oklahoma City Thunder play their first home preseason game, away from home -- not at the Ford Center, but at Tulsa's BOK Center.
The Thunder are 1-and-1 through two pre-season contests, winning 97-93 last Wednesday at Charlotte and losing by seven at Miami Friday night.
Tonight's opponent is the Memphis Grizzlies, one of seven teams who remain unbeaten this preseason. The Grizzlies defeated Atlanta 115-111 Thursday and New Orleans 97-90 on Saturday.
Leading the way for the Thunder is of course Kevin Durant. The young superstar led the NBA in scoring last season at 30.1 points per contest and scored 21 points in the loss at Miami.
The Thunder have the bulk of their team returning from last year's squad that went 50-and-32 and took two games from eventual NBA champion Los Angeles in the first round of the playoffs.
Additions this year include former Kansas center Cole Aldrich, 3-point sharpshooter Daequan Cook, former University of Texas standout Royal Ivey and 10-year veteran guard Morris Peterson.
Tonight's game starts at 7 p.m.
Oklahoma City's first game at the Ford Center this preseason will be played Thursday night against Moscow. The regular season opener is October 27th at the Ford Center against the Chicago Bulls.
