Prosecutors have filed a murder charge against a man in connection with the shooting death of another man at a Tulsa apartment complex late last month.

Court records show Wilburt Moore, Jr. was charged with first-degree murder Tuesday. He's accused in the November 28th shooting death of Kenneth Maywald.

Maywald died after being shot at an apartment complex just west of Sheridan on East Virgin Street. Witnesses told police he had gone there looking for a suspect who had shot at his friend's car earlier in the evening.

A resident of the apartments says Maywald came to their apartment and knocked on the door, saying he had been shot and asking them to call 911 before collapsing outside the front door.

He died a short time later after being rushed to St. John Medical Center.

Police gathered information that led them to Moore, who has not yet been arrested. Investigators also are looking for Sharon Rollins as a person of interest in the case. She is thought to be with Moore.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Moore or Rollins is urged to call CrimeStoppers at 596-COPS. You can remain anonymous and earn a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest in the case.
