Oral Roberts will be without its leading scorer for two to three weeks it was announced Monday.

Dominique Morrison, who is second in the Summit League averaging 18.4 points per game, will have surgery Tuesday to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee.

The injury was suffered during practice on Saturday.

"I hate this for Dominique and for the entire team," says head coach Scott Sutton. "The good news is that this isn't a season-ending injury. He'll back to practice within a couple of weeks and hopefully return to game action shortly thereafter."

Morrison was not in the lineup Monday night as the Golden Eagles suffered an 84-80 setback at Akron, their third consecutive loss.

ORU is now 5-and-11 and will play at North Dakota State Thursday night.
