Cold Snap Ahead

Posted: Updated:

Soak up as much of the mild weather this week as it won't last for long! Our current high temperatures in the 50s are only going to stick around until the end of the week. Starting Saturday afternoon and evening, rain showers will move into the greater Tulsa area. More rain is possible on Sunday with temperatures lingering in the mid to upper 40s. However, blistering cold air will move into Green Country on Sunday evening and into Monday. Temperatures are not expected to make it out of the 30s on Monday, and there is a chance for some light snow! Clear skies are expected to return next Tuesday, but the arctic cold temperatures will stick around with highs only in the mid 20s for the middle of next week.

So enjoy the "warm" weather now as it's expected for stay cold through mid-January! And stay tuned for updates on possible snow, extreme cold temperatures, and wind chill values!
