Reach Clothing to Help Less Fortunate

Posted: Updated:

A young entrepreneur, who wants to help the less fortunate, has set up shop in Collinsville.

Tyson Baker has started a new line of clothing called "Reach Clothing."

Right now, he is only designing T-shirts with the graphic 2RBR.  That stands for "to reach and be reached."

Tyson will donate a shirt to a charitable organization for every shirt he sells.

He felt called to do this after hearing about an elementary student who was being made fun of at school because he wore the same shirt everyday.  Baker knows it's very hard for many families today, and he wanted to help.

"Little kids are thinking it's their fault their families are in poverty because their parents are having to buy clothes for them, and it was just one of those things where there was an opportunity that I saw I could help someone out. Maybe I'm not giving them food, but I am giving them clothing so they can buy food for themselves."

Baker says he hopes to be able to expand his line of clothing in the coming year.

If you would like to find out more, or order a T shirt, log onto reach-clothing.com.
