Miami, FL -
The Oklahoma City Thunder have won four straight games -- three on the road -- and now turn their attention to the "Big 3" Wednesday night in Miami.
Miami comes into the game having gotten their confidence back, winning at home against the Lakers and Spurs to end a five game losing streak.
The Thunder and Heat met in late January at Oklahoma City Arena with Miami coming away with a 108-103 victory behind 32 points from Dwyane Wade.
But, that was before Oklahoma City pulled off the trade that sent Jeff Green and Nenad Krstic to Boston for Kendrick Perkins.
Perkins got his first action in a Thunder uniform in Monday night's blowout win at Washington and is expected to give the Thunder a better defensive presence inside down the stretch.
In his last six games against the Heat, Perkins has averaged 7.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocked shots per game. More importantly, his teams won five of those six games, including 15 points and six rebounds in Boston's 85-82 victory last month.
With their four straight wins and seven in eight games, the Thunder are now 20 games above .500 and are keeping their hold on the fourth playoff spot in the Western Conference.
After Wednesday night's game, the Thunder return home for six straight contests -- five against teams who wouldn't make the playoffs if they started today.
