Los Angeles, CA -
The Oklahoma City Thunder will look to bounce back tonight as they continue a west coast road trip with a visit to Los Angeles to face Blake Griffin and the Clippers.
The Thunder watched an eight-point third quarter lead evaporate Friday night as Portland ripped off 15 straight points en route to a 98-91 win.
The win snapped Oklahoma City's five-game win streak and dropped them three games behind the Dallas Mavericks for third place in the Western Conference. With seven games remaining, the Thunder need to finish strong to move up.
The Thunder hasn't lost back to back games since February and have won 14 of 17 since the beginning of March, including winning streaks of three, six and five games.
Over that time, they've gained three games on Dallas in the standings.
The Thunder have split the season series so far with the Clippers, losing by fifteen points November third at the Staples Center and winning by 23 in February at Oklahoma City Arena.
The two teams will meet twice in four days as the Clippers will return to Oklahoma City on Wednesday night.
After tonight's game, the Thunder will wrap up the road trip with a Tuesday night game at Denver. The end of the season will see Denver come to Oklahoma City on April 8th, then road contests at the Lakers April tenth and at Sacramento April 11th before the regular season finale April 13th at home against Milwaukee.
