
A tornado warning was issued for parts of Kay and Osage counties late Friday night as a tornado was reported by storm chasers.
At 11:21 p.m., the tornado was located about 11 miles northwest of Burbank and was moving to the east at 30 miles per hour. By 11:34, the storm was near Apperson.
At midnight, the warning was allowed to expire.
A tornado watch remains in effect through 1 a.m. for much of northern Oklahoma, including Craig, Kay, Nowata, Osage, Pawnee, Payne, Washington counties.
