San Antonio smacked eight home runs and pounded out 26 hits in a 23-10 rout of Tulsa in a Monday matinee at ONEOK Field.

The Missions scored at least one run in every inning except the ninth and every position player but one (second baseman Anthony Contreras) had at least two hits in the game, which took three and a half hours to complete.

Still, Tulsa wasn't out of it until the eighth, when the Missions scored seven times to put the game away.

Two San Antonio players -- Sawyer Carroll and Beamer Weems -- hit two home runs each and first baseman Cody Decker needed only a single to hit for the cycle.

Leading Tulsa's offensive effort was Tim Wheeler, who went 2-for-3 with two home runs and four runs batted in. Thomas Field also went deep for Tulsa.

Josh Sullivan took the loss for the Drillers, allowing ten runs, nine earned, on 11 hits in three and two-thirds innings. Five of the hits were home runs.

The Drillers and Missions will complete their three game series Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. at ONEOK Field.
