Sacramento, CA -
Kevin Durant scored 32 points and Russell Westbrook added 30 as Oklahoma City won its fifth straight game, 120-112 at Sacramento Monday night.
Oklahoma City (55-26) led 24-20 after the opening period, but watched as the Kings (24-57) put up 37 second quarter points to lead 57-51 at the half.
The Thunder still trailed 78-74 late in the third before scoring seven straight -- including five from Westbrook -- to take the lead for good.
Serge Ibaka had a big game for OKC, scoring 14 points, pulling down eight rebounds and blocking six shots. Off the bench, James Harden added 12 points and Nazr Mohammed scored ten.
With the win, Oklahoma City pulled within a half game of the Los Angeles Lakers for the third seed and one game behind the Dallas Mavericks for the second seed in the Western Conference.
The Lakers hold the tiebreaker over the Thunder, which means to move up into that third spot, Oklahoma City needs a win Wednesday against Milwaukee and needs the Lakers to lose Tuesday night against San Antonio and Wednesday at Sacramento.
The Thunder could also take the No. 2 seed if Dallas were to lose Wednesday night at home against New Orleans.
