The Tulsa Drillers begin a six-game road trip today with the first of three games in Corpus Christi.
Tulsa went 3-and-3 on its opening homestand last week and sit two games behind division leading Northwest Arkansas.
Corpus Christi is 1-and-5 entering today's game. The Hooks were swept by Northwest Arkansas in a weekend three-game series.
Tulsa will send Christian Friedrich (1-0, 1.80 ERA) to the mound Thursday against Jonnathan Aristil (0-1, 5.79 ERA).
The Drillers and Hooks will play through Saturday before Tulsa moves on to play in San Antonio Sunday through Tuesday.
San Antonio won two of three from Tulsa in their series earlier this week.
