Posted: Updated:

James McCann doubled home the go-ahead run in the top of the eighth inning as 21st-ranked Arkansas rallied for a 6-5 win over Oral Roberts Tuesday night at J.L. Johnson Stadium in Tulsa.

Arkansas (27-9) trailed 5-3 entering the inning, but got a two-run single by Collin Kuhn to tie the game. McCann's game-winner came two batters later.

Oral Roberts (17-14) scored all five of its runs in the bottom of the fourth. Trailing 2-0, Brandon King pulled the Golden Eagles even with a two-run triple. King later scored on a double by Brett Sowers to give ORU the lead and Bennett Pickar belted a two-run home run later in the inning to pad the lead.

Arkansas reliever Colby Suggs earned the win for Arkansas, allowing one hit in three innings, striking out four.

ORU's Alex Gonzalez was tagged with the loss.

The Golden Eagles return to action Friday to begin a four-game weekend series at North Dakota State.
