For the third time this season, TU pitcher Amanda Creger has been named the Conference USA Pitcher of the Week after leading the Golden Hurricane to a pair of wins over UAB.
The freshman from Yukon went 3-and-0 and struck out 28 batters in 21 innings last week which included a victory over Kansas and two wins over Alabama-Birmingham, which put Tulsa in first place in the conference.
Creger is now 19-and-2 and her strikeout total has reached 204, a new single-season record.
Creger also earned the weekly award on March 21st and shared the honor on April fourth.
Tulsa next plays Wednesday at home against Missouri State before wrapping up the regular season with a road trip to UTEP Friday and Saturday.
