The University of Tulsa women's golf team will compete in the West Regional of the upcoming NCAA Tournament, it was announced Monday.
The Golden Hurricane, which finished second at last week's Conference USA Championships, will participate against 23 other teams, including C-USA champion UTEP as well as the University of Oklahoma and Oral Roberts University
This is TU's fourth straight NCAA regional appearance and 16th in the 19 years of the NCAA's regional format. It's Tulsa's 32nd overall national tournament appearance.
The NCAA regional will be played May 5-7 at the Washington National Golf Course in Auburn, Washington.
Eight teams and two individuals will move on to the NCAA championships May 18-21 in Bryan, Texas.
