Drillers Rained Out In Little Rock

North Little Rock AR -

Even driving more than 200 miles east couldn't keep the Tulsa Drillers dry.

Monday's series opener at Arkansas was canceled because of heavy rains in the Little Rock area.

Tulsa is currently tied with Northwest Arkansas for first place in the Texas League North. The Drillers took three of four games from Springfield to move into a tie with the Naturals, just a game in front of Arkansas.

The Travelers have won 7 of their last 10 games after an 0-4 start.

Monday's opener will be made up as part of a doubleheader on May 12th.

The Drillers and Travelers will try to get game two in Tuesday night at 7:10 p.m. at Dickey-Stephens Park.
