Zach Randolph scored 34 points and grabbed ten rebounds as the No. 8 seed Memphis Grizzlies continue to shock the NBA, taking game one from the Oklahoma City Thunder, 114-101 Sunday afternoon at Oklahoma City Arena.

The Thunder trailed by as many as 16 in the first half before trimming it to three in the third quarter. But, the Grizzlies responded, scoring nine straight to end the quarter and taking their largest lead, 91-74 on a Shane Battier lay-up early in the fourth.

As they have done many times this postseason, Oklahoma City put together a run in the fourth, scoring nine straight points to get within 93-86. But, they'd get no closer as the Grizzlies converted 11-of-13 at the free throw line in the final 2:34.

Oklahoma City didn't do itself any favor, turning the ball over 18 times and being out-rebounded 45-42, including allowing 18 offensive rebounds for the Grizzlies.

Memphis shot 49-point-4 percent from the field and 25-of-28 at the free throw line.

Kevin Durant led Oklahoma City with 33 points and eleven rebounds. Russell Westbrook added 29, but was just 9-of-23 from the field. Serge Ibaka had 16 points, 11 rebounds and five blocked shots.

Joining Randolph in double figures for Memphis was Marc Gasol with 20 points on 9-of-11 shooting to go with 13 rebounds. Mike Conley added 15, Tony Allen scored 12 and Shane Battier scored eleven.

Game two in the series is Tuesday night at 8:30 p.m.
