The Tulsa Drillers are the hottest team in the Texas League after winning for a fifth straight outing, 4-2 over the Arkansas Travelers Thursday night at ONEOK Field.

The Drillers scored a run in the first when Tim Wheeler led off with a double and scored on a ground out by Ben Paulsen. Mike Daniel added a two-run homer in the second for a 3-0 lead.

Arkansas cut the lead in the fourth on Luis Jimenez's two-run homer, but would only get one more hit the rest of the evening. Meanwhile, Tulsa added an insurance run in the seventh on a double by Wheeler.

Rob Scahill got the win for the Drillers, allowing two runs on four hits in six innings. He is now 2-and-2 on the season.

With the win, and Northwest Arkansas' third straight loss, Tulsa's lead in the Texas League North Division now stands at four games. The Drillers and Travelers wrap up their four-game series Friday night at 7:05 p.m. at ONEOK Field.
