The University of Tulsa men's golf team will participate in the San Diego Region for the upcoming chase for a spot in the NCAA Championships later this month.
The Golden Hurricane is one of 13 teams who will compete in the regional and will be the number nine seed.
The others are Cleveland State, Middle Tennessee, North Texas, Ohio State, Pacific, San Diego, San Francisco, SMU, Texas, UCLA, UNLV and USC.
It's the third straight season TU has been selected for regional play.
The San Diego Regional will be played at The Farms Golf Club. The low five teams and the low individual not on one of those teams will advance to the NCAA Championships from each regional.
The NCAA Championships will be played at Stillwater's Karsten Creek beginning May 31st.
