
The men's golf teams at Oklahoma State and Tulsa begin regional play today in preparation for the 2011 NCAA Men's Golf Championships.
Tulsa will play in the San Diego Regional at The Farms Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe, California. John Young Kim will be the first to tee off at 8:50.
The Golden Hurricane is in its third straight regional appearance and 21st overall following a third place performance at the Conference USA Championships.
Top-ranked Oklahoma State is playing in the Central-Colorado Regional at Colorado National Golf Club in Erie, Colorado.
Talor Gooch will be the first to go for the Cowboys, teeing off at 9:30 a.m.
OSU has won eight regional titles in the past 22 years, including last year's Southeast Regional in which Peter Uihlein took medalist honors.
The top five teams from each regional will advance to the NCAA Championship finals, which will be played at Stillwater's Karsten Creek beginning May 31st.
