Horse Racing Returns to Fair Meadows

Live mixed-breed horse racing returned to Tulsa's Fair Meadows race track Thursday evening, June 2nd, at Expo Square, 21st & Yale.

Thoroughbreds, quarter horses, paints and appaloosas will be featured during the meet that runs thru July 23rd.

Post time on Thursday, Friday and Saturday will be 6pm. There is a 4:05 post time on Sunday's and 6pm on designated Wednesday evening racing on June 8, June 29 and July 20.

Some of the sports top quarter horse jockeys and trainers will be competing at Fair Meadows including the sports all-time winningest rider, G.R. Carter and leading trainers like Eddie Willis, Luis Villafranco, Jeff Dean, Rodney Reed , Guillermo Valdivia and Stacey Capps.

Also returning to defend his jockey title is Adalberto Cadndanosa and the ageless Roy Brooks who is still riding at age 69!
